In an effort to learn a few lighting techniques, I stepped out from behind the camera to work with photographer Derek DeLaney. It's definitely a much different experience being in front of the camera. It was an exciting few hours in which I picked up a lot of new lighting tricks, while being attacked by a swarm of angry mosquitos. In the midst of all our mosquito swatting, we managed to capture quite a few interesting images. Unfortunately, I don't have a way to show the difference between the photographs with and without the additional lighting. Either way, here is one of the many photos...
